Ukraine has exported 339 000 tons of barley in March — this is one of the record indicators of the season.

It can be expected that 200 000 tons each will be sent for export in April, as well as in May. In the forage group of grains, prices were formed in favor of barley: corn is more expensive than barley for 10 US dollars per ton. Thus, Ukrainian barley has become more competitive and is in demand by EU countries and Türkiye. The main trade in barley takes place in Odesa ports, where the conventional price is about 145 US dollars per ton.
