In January-April 2025, the Export Credit Agency (ECA) insured export operations of Ukrainian companies, securing UAH 5.35 billion in future export revenue. For the same period last year, this figure was UAH 1.7 billion.
Insuring export contracts has enabled producers to reduce the risks of non-payment and gain access to bank financing, helping companies scale production and enter new markets.
The most active regions in export insurance during this period were Lviv Oblast (UAH 1.37 billion), Khmelnytskyi Oblast (UAH 1.31 billion), and Volyn Oblast (UAH 1.12 billion).
Ukrainian enterprises exported furniture, food products, timber, wood products, and processed vegetable and fruit products to Poland, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Estonia, the United Kingdom, and other countries.
The largest banking partners of the ECA during this period were:
- Creditwest Bank – UAH 109 million in loans issued
- Oschadbank – UAH 92.5 million
- Ukrgasbank – UAH 90 million
