The vessel Brave Commander carrying 20,000 tonnes of Ukrainian grain arrived in Turkey as part of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) initiative to support regions affected by the crisis, including Syria.

Of this, 5,000 tonnes of grain will be delivered to Syria under the WFP program. The Brave Commander was met by representatives of the WFP office in Turkey, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs,

the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and the Samsun Governorate.
