The volume of exports through the Ukrainian maritime corridor in April decreased by 45%

The volume of exports through the Ukrainian maritime corridor in April decreased by 45% compared to April 2024, reaching 5.3 million tons.

According to the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA), Ukrainian seaports handled a total of 6 million tons of cargo in April 2025.

Specifically, the port of Pivdennyi processed 2.4 million tons, Chornomorsk port handled 1.8 million tons, and Odesa port managed 1 million tons. The Danube region ports (Izmail, Reni, and Ust-Dunaisk) collectively handled about 800,000 tons of cargo.

Grain cargoes accounted for the largest share of the total handling volume in April, at 3.1 million tons, followed by ore at 1 million tons, according to the report.

Of the export cargoes transported via the maritime corridor in April, the majority, 2.9 million tons, were agricultural products.
