In May, Ukraine exported approximately 1,400 tons of live-weight cattle, which is 25% less than in April but 166% more compared to May last year. The revenue reached $2.89 million, 47% less than in April but 273% more than in May 2024.

At the same time, Ukrainian exporters supplied 21 tons of fresh or chilled beef to foreign markets in May, nearly 984% more than in April but 91% less compared to May 2024. Export revenue was $137,000, 493% more than in April but 91% less than in May 2024.

Additionally, the volume of frozen beef exports from Ukraine in May was 1,910 tons, 6% more than in April and 19% more compared to May last year. Revenue reached nearly $7.78 million, 9% more than in April and 23% more than in May 2024.
