During January-May 2025, Ukraine imported goods worth $31.3 billion and exported goods worth $16.9 billion.
At the same time, taxed imports amounted to $23.8 billion, which is 76% of the total volume of imported goods.
The countries from which the largest number of goods were imported to Ukraine: China – $6.5 billion, Poland – $2.9 billion, and Germany – $2.6 billion.
The largest exports from Ukraine were to: Poland – $2 billion, Turkey – $1.4 billion, Italy – $1 billion.
Of the total volume of goods imported in January-May 2025, 68% were the following categories of goods: machinery, equipment and transport – $11.9 billion; chemical industry products – $5.2 billion; fuel and energy – $4 billion.
The top three most exported goods from Ukraine include: food products – $9.7 billion; metals and products made from them – $1.9 billion; machinery, equipment and transport – $1.5 billion.
In the first 5 months of 2025, UAH 121.6 million was paid to the budget for customs clearance of exports of goods subject to export duty.
